Split-Dubrovnik-Split aboard M/S Emanuel

Day 1 · Split / Milna

Arrive at the city of Split and embark MS Emanuel at 2.00pm.
Split is the second largest city in Croatia and a UN World Heritage Site. At the historical core of Split—and within a walking distances of our ship you will discover with our guide the massive Palace of the Emperor Diocletian, dating from the end of the third century A.D.; one of the last palaces built in the Roman Empire. This afternoon we set sail to the beautiful small town Milna situated on west part of island Brac where we are going to overnight.


Day 2 · Milna / Bol / Hvar

Morning departure to Bol also on Brac Island, said to have the most beautiful beach in Croatia. We will stop for a swim at the famous beach area known as Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn). This golden pebble beach is some 530 meter long and is quite unique for its shape which changes depending on the winds. We will then continue our sailing towards the island of Hvar, the sunniest Croatian island,also known as Croatian Madeira.Upon our arrival we anchor outside the entrance of harbour Hvar.
There we will have our lunch on board and later opportunity to swim in crystal clean sea. . Later we transfer by local boat to Hvar town where we will meet our local guide.
“I know paradise now, I know Hvar,” goes a local saying. A walk along the waterfront promenade and through the Old Town of Hvar reveals a wealth of historic medieval and Renaissance buildings as well as lovely yachts and other private craft.
Fine art, including paintings by Old Masters and ecclesiastic treasures of precious materials, can be found in the collections of the Franciscan Monastery and the treasury of Hvar Cathedral. This evening we will have dinner ashore at the famous Restaurant situated near the promenade. There will be free time after dinner for shopping or further sightseeing before returning to our boat at 10.00pm to spend a peaceful night at anchor in the bay.


Day 3 · Hvar / Korcula

Later this morning we set sail for the island of Korcula and the city of Korcula. One of the greenest islands in the Adriatic with numerous tiny and secluded bays, Korcula is rich in art and culture. It is a typical medieval walled Dalmatian town, with its cluster of red rooftops and round defensive towers. It is also reputad to be birthplace of the great explorer, Marco Polo, in 1254.
Overnight in Korcula.


Day 4 · Korcula / Dubrovnik

After breakfast we depart Korcula for a quite bay on the island of Jakljan for a relaxing swim before sailing into Dubrovnik – the pearl of the Adriatic. Dubrovnik is a breathtaking sight, entirely surrounded by massive grey walls of stone, interspersed with four gates, three forts, five bastions and 14 square towers. The “Pearl of the Adriatic” contains a treasure-trove of medieval art and architecture that has earned it a designation as a UN World Heritage Site.

The Dominican and Franciscan Monasteries are beautiful examples of Romanesque–Gothic architecture, and other monuments of significance
include the Onofrio’s Fountain, the Rector’s Palace, the Sponza Palace and several fine churches. A stroll along Stradun—the Old Town’s wide pedestrian promenade—allows you to discover Dubrovnik’s many fine shops, cafés and boutiques at leisure.
Don’t miss a chance to take the walk at the top of the wall surrounding the city for beautiful panoramic views of this fascinating city on the Adriatic.
After lunch we will join in on a City Tour of Dubrovnik. On the east entrance of Dubrovnik City Walls ,”Pile Gate”, we will start our walking tour along the most famous Dubrovnik Street – Stradun. Overnight in Dubrovnik.

Day 5 · Dubrovnik / NP Mljet

This morning we sail for the island of Mljet, one of 7 Croatian National Parks with lovely pine forests and jewel-like lakes. We sightsee here, taking a boat cruise on the lake to the ancient church of St Mary. Today, you will spend a day in the nature and you can use it for recreation– rent a bike, kayak, and canoe or just swim and wonder around in a splendid and peaceful environment of the National Park. Overnight in National Park Mljet.


Day 6 · NP Mljet / Pucisca

Early this morning we set sail for Pucisca on island Brac.
On our way to island Brac we will have an opportunity for a swim in one of beautiful bay on the east point of island of Hvar. During the lunch we will continue sailing and arrive on late afternoon to Pucisca. Pucisca is famed for its white stone that has been used for centuries in the building of palaces and cathedrals throughout the world and more notably the White house in USA.
We are going to visit a masonry school.
Overnight in Pucisca.


Day 7 · Pucisca / Omis

This morning we set sail for the small town of Omis.
Following a walking tour of the city, you can tour the fabulous Cetina canyon in a local boat, or visit the historical pirates tower Mirabela or chill out on the beautiful on Omis’ sandy beach.
Return to Emanuel in time for the Captain’s Dinner tonight at 7:00 PM.


Day 8 · Omis / Split

Early this morning Emanuel will be sailing from Omis to Split during the breakfast. After breakfast we disembark and greet Emanuel’s crew.
